概要	We report the first unambiguous identification of the exotic earthworm species, Pithemera bicincta (Perrier, 1875) on Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, the Ogasawara Islands, and Ryukyu Islands, Japan. The species is redescribed in this paper based on the specimens from Shizuoka Pref., Honshu.
